Who Me?
Who Am I?
I’m a confused and hungry late-20′s New Yorker that is also AG loving, BJJ-ing, MBA-ing, snowboarding, turtle-caring, fun loving, movie watching, 401K participating, chocolate show going, Metrocard carrying, restaurant going, WordPress blogging, winter loving, Roth IRA contributing, oatmeal loving, mountain resort pin collecting, email checking, sailing-loving, blood donating, vacation needing, PATH riding, Windows-shell replacing, freebie collecting (for my parents), loud burping, smartphone using, Netflix subscribing, deodorant wearing, rollerblade learning, Newsgator using, beer drinking, MMA watching, podcast listening, popcorn eating, gel wearing or head shaving, Heroes watching, injury recovering, lukewarm water drinking, blog reading, toy snowboard collecting, linux experimenting, pizza loving, home gym owning, text messaging, sailing loving, vodka sipping, sleep snoozing, ice cream licking, career searching, freeware loving, open-source using, summer loving, magazine reading, picture taking, subway musician liking, web-surfing, Jesus-loving and an otherwise uninteresting loner.
Who Am I really? Why don’t I reveal names?
I dunno, privacy issues. Even though I don’t talk badly about anyone here, I don’t feel comfortable naming names when I don’t even reveal my own. I prefer to remain anonymous. I might change that in the future, we’ll see.
Why do I have this blog?
It’s my training log. Mostly to remember techniques learned and keep track of my progress & the goals I set for myself.
Why use the Snowboard Instructor’s / action figures / toys?
I started doing the Snowboard Instructors pictorials because I got tired of trying to describe with words all the many different techniques and nuances, and then later not knowing what I meant. I admit, I only do a fraction of all the techniques learned, and I wish I could do most of them just so I could remember them all. I ‘m not pretending to be an instructor or an expert or whatever with the techniques, they’re just my notes and what I remember.
When did I start training?
April/May of 2006.
Where do I train?
In New York, NY.
What is my belt level?
I’m a new blue belt, promoted in December 2008.
Where/how can I ask questions?
Feel free to leave comments on my blog posts. Good or bad, I’ll keep your comment on the site and won’t delete it. Unless it’s spam.
